ICYDK – Interstate Bridge Plans, Dog With No Name, & Voters’ Pamphlet Conspiracy

New 3-D maps have been released with projections about what could happen when they replace the Interstate Bridge, and all the interchanges nearby (remember that’s a huge part of all the problems). New approach lanes, new exits from the freeway, and as you can see there on the left, new transit lines across the bridge. What I see… years of construction… but what ya gonna do?

Albany has a new K-9 Officer and her name is… yet to be determined. They are letting schoolchildren submit names, which will then be voted on. Cute idea, but this dog doesn’t have a name already? I mean, she’s a cop; she’s had years of training, what did they call her? Did they just call her “Dog?” And if that’s the case, doesn’t she think that’s her name?

And finally, boom. The Oregon Voters Pamphlet is arriving in homes, and it is a monster. You should probably set aside some time to vote this year, because there is a lot in here, like a lot a lot, but you may notice that one thing is missing. It’s not a conspiracy; we’ve known that one thing wasn’t gonna be in here for months… it was a decision. Don’t believe everything you hear.
