ICYDK – Self-Service DMV, Oregon State Wins, & LEGO Twilight
The DMV has launched self-service kiosks at Fred Meyer stores at several locations across the state, offering you another way you can renew your vehicle registrations. It’ll print out your registration, give you new tags, the whole bit. But is it the whole bit? Does it give me a number and make me wait an hour over in Fred Meyer shoes? I want a full DMV experience.
Crazy win for Oregon State at Gill Coliseum last night. First off, it was the first sell-out crowd since 2019 for the Beavers, and it sold out because they were playing new-to-the-Pac-12 Gonzaga. And what do we know about Gonzaga? The only thing anybody knows about Gonzaga – they hoop. Final score, 97-89… go Beavs.
And finally, Lego will be releasing a set with some NW connections; it’s the Cullen house from Twilight, and it’s cute, look at the little werewolf there, and the little blonde Cullens, and Charlie, and the windows, and because this house is a real life house right here in Portland, you can make it extra authentic after you build it and just keep it moist all the time.
