ICYDK – Robot Police Dogs, Greater Idaho Returns, & Rejected Oregon Plates
Portland Cops have a new officer, and his name is Spot. He is a robot dog, and his primary job is to do dangerous stuff. If there’s a building collapse, he can go in there. If there’s explosives, he can go near that. Armed suspect, he can engage with that. I think he’s cute. It’s Portland; we’ll find a reason to complain about him, but for now, awwwwww.
Heyyyyy, Greater Idaho is back! Maybe they never left, but folks in Salem are gonna start seeing some billboards, and it’s probably because the Greater Idaho folks probably rightfully assume this is a good time to remind people that they did vote that they wanted lawmakers to look at letting them become Idaho… even though it ain’t gonna happen.
And finally, the Oregon DMV has released a list of the vanity license plates that have been rejected this year. Here’s some fun ones. BUT-MAN, HWKTUA, HNNSSY, STRIPER, W00PEE, PNKASS, VIAGRA, & P00PIE. There’s also much tamer ones that got rejected. Basically imagine it’s a Catholic nun from the 60s, and she’s the one approving these.
