ICYDK – Local Sundance Success, Jazzy Davidson, & Dry January Continues
The Sundance Film Festival is going on right now in Utah, and one film that was shot here in Portland is getting a lot of love. It’s called Twinless, it stars Dylan O’Brien from Teen Wolf & Lauren Graham from Gilmore Girls; kind of a dark comedy that was supposed to film in Seattle, but they moved it here. You will seem very cultured if you watch it.
Oregon’s all-time leading scorer in girls’ basketball will be representing America once again. Jazzy Davidson, who is a senior at Clackamas High, has already been national Player Of The Year, played for Team USA at the World Cup, and is committed to USC, but has now been named to the 2025 McDonald’s All-American team. She good.
And finally, you may be doing dry January, and you may have noticed, so is Mother Nature. If we make it to Thursday without it raining, that will break the record of the longest stretch in January without rain in Portland. Might happen, might not, and also, from the looks of things, we’ll celebrate the end of that record… with snow this weekend.
